Kendal Fitchett
Lead Pastor
Kendal grew up in British Columbia and came to First Baptist in 2002 as the Youth Pastor after graduating from Prairie Bible College. He transitioned to Lead Pastor in 2007 and enjoys serving the church through preaching and teaching. Kendal and his wife Lindsay were married in 1999 and have 5 kids – 4 boys & a girl. Kendal enjoys hockey (go Canucks!) and a good cup of coffee.
Jake Zufelt
Associate Pastor
Jake grew up in Soldotna, Alaska and came to LFB in 2011 after graduating from Corban University. His passions include eating food in Portland with his wife, Teesha, wrestling with his son, Dawson, snuggling his daughter, Avenlee, playing blues guitar, and watching Ducks football. Jake and Teesha married in 2010 and love being a part of the LFB family.

Paul Bess
Facilities Manager
Paul & his wife Jennifer came to First Baptist in 2000. They have 4 grown daughters and a bunch of grandkids. Paul came on staff in 2013 after retiring from 30 years as a butcher. He also serves as an Elder, home community leader, and plays electric guitar for the worship band. Ask him about his family or his most recent hunting trip and be prepared to look at lots of photos.
Angie Hearn
Children’s Ministry
Angie grew up in Brush Prairie, Washington. She spent 4 years with Operation Mobilization where she met her husband, Adam. She started attending LFB in 2010 and came on staff in 2018. Angie has four young daughters who she loves spending time with. All are currently in kids ministry which makes her job very near to her heart. She is passionate about helping kids understand the gospel of Jesus.
Jamey Suderman Office Manager
Jamey grew up in Bremerton, Washington. She and her husband, Lowell, came to First Baptist in 1996 and have been an active part of the Worship Ministry.  They have 3 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren.  Jamey has also been ministering to women’s groups for years with a band called Heirborne.  She loves singing, reading, walking, chocolate and serving our congregation in lots of different ways.
